Symphony

Ohtori-kun, were you aware that the Tokyo Philharmonic is performing Vivaldi's Four Seasons this week? I took the opportunity to pick up four tickets, would you mind coming with me?

Is there anyone else you'd like to take?

Four tickets to...?

Oishi-san, of course, I'd love to go - that sounds fantastic thank you so much?

Anyone else? I...I'm not sure. Shishido-san but I don't know how to ask him. I don't know who else likes classical music.

How about Shishido-kun? I would ask him for you, but surely the invitation would make more sense coming from a friend?

I...I would like him to come, but...I don't even know if he likes classical music.

Okay, here's the deal... You call me "Oishi" and I'll... find a way that I don't like of ensuring Shishido-kun joins us for the concert. Deal?

I - but - it's

...fine. But only in private and only when I'm speaking to you.

Done.

*sigh* Now for the bit I don't like...

...the bit you don't..?

Oishi-sama - sorry - Oishi, if you don't want Shishido-san there, you don't have to...

It isn't Shishido-kun, Ohtori-kun... I would be very pleased to have him there. It is why I got the extra tickets after all.

I thought the simplest way might be to invite Oshitari-kun and suggest he brings Shishido-kun. He does after all appreciate classical music and vodka.

Oh. You're still upset with Yuushi-sama for giving Eiji and I alcohol, aren't you.

I ... yes. I think it was very manipulative of him.

He didn't make either of us drink, Oishi-san - sorry, Oishi I'll get it right eventually. Anyway, Eiji got into some kind of contest with Mukahi and I was just dumb - it's not his fault.

I am gratified to hear he didn't force the drink on you, but he still brought it out with the express intention of hoping peer pressure would force you to become drunk. If I thought he had merely wanted a single glass himself, I would not mind nearly as much.

...Why are you so certain that he wanted me drunk? It would have been rude to bring something out to drink and not offer some to your guests...

I think it's cynicism steaming from Mukahi being there.

...Oh.

Well, Mukahi-san and I are getting along alright now, so....

Ah, well that is good. Though you should not get careless, Ohtori-kun,

Don't worry Oishi, I'm being careful. And he's being..nice, in an odd way. Well, before the whole thing with Hiyoshi-sama started, anyway. Since then he's just been sort of panicking, I think.

The whole thing with Hiyoshi-kun? Surely not more of Inui-san's data? He's been putting half the school together, no one is taking it seriously.... are they?

Re: Screen to Ohtori

[identity profile] silverfromsteel.livejournal.com 2009-08-31 03:08 am (UTC)(link)
More than data. He...I don't know how, but Inui-sama must've hacked Hiyoshi-sama's journal, there's no other way he'd no that Hiyoshi-sama had gone to me for advice after he figured it out. And then Hiyoshi-sama actually told Mukahi-san that he had feelings for him and I'm not sure what's happening now.

...er, you're not going to turn either of them in, are you? I know it's against the rules, but...

No, of course I won't. It sounds like they have enough problems with anyone adding to them.

Well, for all I feel Hiyoshi-kun and Mukahi-kun deserved something to fall on their heads, I wouldn't have chosen this. Inui-san's data really does more harm than good.

I didn't think you would - but I figured I'd best ask, to be sure. Thank you.

And yes, it does. What is the administration thinking, letting him do something like this?

I suppose no one will complain because then they'd have to admit there is some truth in it which, as you say, it against school rules.

Eiji told me that he wouldn't believe anyone had a crush on him unless he was told by the person in question. It was the most sensible thing I'd heard in a long while! I guess that doesn't apply to Hiyoshi-kun if he confessed to Mukahi-kun though ... no.

That's a good point. It's frustrating, though.

So Eiji-san can be sensible! I was starting to wonder.
