Bonjour!

I passed French! Not brilliantly, but well enough to stay in the class this year. My marks on the grammar section was reasonable, but my vocabulary still needs a lot of work. Still, it's not surprising given how late I joined the class so I'm very pleased. Tezuka, THANK YOU for the lessons and the dictionary; the notations are invaluable.

My other Christmas presents were disturbing ... unusual ... interesting. Sadly, the book from Oshitari was overlooked when we packed to return to Lioncrest. Ohtori-kun, you should have been more careful and, on an entirely unrelated note, I'm giving you a pay increase.

Eiji, I do love the telescope! I can see ... my French dictionary through it. Did I mention I passed French?!

[ooc: about to jump Atlantic, might be quiet while over water (or overly chatty if increased airport security leaves me at Heathrow for a week)]

Congratulations, Oishi, shall I make something to celebrate?

I'm terribly sorry about forgetting the book, perhaps we should send Yuushi-sama a note of apology? But thank you for the raise.

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-04 09:37 pm (UTC)(link)
How about oyako? Would that be ok?

I think it would be best if we didn't initiate communication. Besides, I am sure he'll be happy knowing the book is quite safe unfortunately.

--
[ooc: oyako is a chicken and egg dish - it's yummy \o/ ... although I guess vegetarians would find the name shocking (parent+child) XD Oh Japan...]

[identity profile] silverfromsteel.livejournal.com 2010-01-04 09:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Certainly. And something for desert?

As you wish.

No one is particular to going through your room are they? If your parents or, heaven help us, your sister...

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-04 09:44 pm (UTC)(link)
More oyako. Perhaps some bread and cheese? Sounds French~

Screened:

Curse it! We should have burnt it. But then, no, I would have felt guilty ... I think Michiko would understand though. She did see Oshitari at the party after all. I'm sure his character is obvious even from across the room.

[identity profile] silverfromsteel.livejournal.com 2010-01-04 09:49 pm (UTC)(link)
I think we can manage that.

Screened:

You mean they do go through your room? Well it is buried in your closet, I think we're pretty safe.

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-04 10:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Great!

I think it would take a serious laundry spree for anyone to delve too far into there. I'm sure my baby clothes are still in the back.

So that's what those boxes were Oh, good.
seriousaura: (Watching.)

[personal profile] seriousaura 2010-01-05 03:32 pm (UTC)(link)
You're welcome. Though, I would recommend that you actually start conversing in it more.

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-06 01:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, I should. Could we practice that this term? The other people who have offered would only talk about sex or not use real vocabulary, um, might not be as good.
seriousaura: (Curious.)

[personal profile] seriousaura 2010-01-06 04:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Tuesday nights again?

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-06 08:47 pm (UTC)(link)
That would be good.

[identity profile] pousser-ailes.livejournal.com 2010-01-06 06:54 am (UTC)(link)
Félicitations Oishi!

... You can only see as far as your dictionary with the telescope O.O? 'cuz when I tried it out I could see aaallll the way to Spain Tanzania Port Royal The Black Pearl Sole!!

ooc:The strikes are the places he imagined he could see when he was, er, playing pirate with the telescope >.>

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-06 01:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank you!

I tried it at night out the window too and looking at birds I don't think I want to know what goes on in Sole.

[ooc: awww. I'm afraid Oishi is more practically minded]

[identity profile] pousser-ailes.livejournal.com 2010-01-06 07:08 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm gonna talk to you only in French from now on so be ready!

It's reaallly cool isn't it? ^_^b You can see even eagles 'n stuff close up! I saw Yuushi-sama's room! He was playing his violin, nya~

ooc:xD naturally <3

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-06 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
I am not sure I am ready for that Eiji! And I can only say a few things so I'll probably just end up always asking if you would like something to eat.

It is extremely cool, especially for the wildlife. I ... don't think I want to look into Oshitari's rooms, Eiji ... I mean, what if he's not playing his violin?

[identity profile] pousser-ailes.livejournal.com 2010-01-07 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
Weelll, maybe I'll always talk to you when I'm hungry then~ ^.~

Yup! But we don't have nearly enough wildlife on the grounds to spend all that much time looking at, nya~ >.< So what if Yuushi-sama's not playing his violin?

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-07 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)
That could work. Try and miss dinner occasionally~

We have quite a bit and there are the stars too! Well ... I mean, he might be doing something that ... you know ... you might not want to see.

[identity profile] pousser-ailes.livejournal.com 2010-01-07 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)
That would make me malnourished 'n unable to work, nya!

Then all you'll need is a tall ship like in that poem! Like what? O.O

ooc:I swear the first thing Eiji thought was killing someone

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-07 06:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Not if I then fed you. Though I guess you would be restricted to foods I knew in French so perhaps that wouldn't be a balanced meal after all.

Which poem? Well... I don't know. Just something ... private.

--
[ooc: you think that wasn't what Oishi was thinking? XD]

[identity profile] pousser-ailes.livejournal.com 2010-01-07 06:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Like French toast 'n French fries? :P

Something that goes "All I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer me by" But isn't that the fun of it~?

ooc:lol. Yuushi calls him on that bluff xD

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-07 07:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Eiji, I can do a little better than that!

Ah, John Masefield! Taking off on the sea doesn't sound like such a bad option, now you mention it. It ... it is... until you see something you'd rather not.

[identity profile] pousser-ailes.livejournal.com 2010-01-07 07:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Betcha you can't!

Is that who wrote it? 'n being a pirate'd be so cool!! You're s'posed to see things no one wants you to see, Oishi! 's the fun of spying!!

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-07 07:57 pm (UTC)(link)
voulez-vous un peu fromage? (I think that is right?)

It might be cool for a while, although I'm not sure I would enjoy plundering ships. There are some things though that you wouldn't want to see though, Eiji! Like ... well ... um, private things.

[ooc: yeah... he's not good at being frank XD]

[identity profile] pousser-ailes.livejournal.com 2010-01-08 05:54 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not Shishido, nya~ >D

Why not? You could swing around on ropes from masts 'n knock enemies overboard 'n stuff! Like whaaat?

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-09 02:22 pm (UTC)(link)
That doesn't mean you can't like cheese! Besides ... um, I just wanted to eat it ... judging from the way Ohtori-kun returns from such a meal I think Shishido-kun has other plans for it.

But if you knock people overboard, they would die! just ... well, supposing he's not alone?

[identity profile] pousser-ailes.livejournal.com 2010-01-09 02:31 pm (UTC)(link)
But it's just cheese, nya~ 'n what else can you do with cheese? O.o

A pirate's gotta do what a pirate's gotta do! So?

[identity profile] himitsunotsuki.livejournal.com 2010-01-06 06:55 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sure you could have it sent over, Oishi. You hardly live overseas.

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-06 01:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't want to put my parents to that trouble, Oshitari. It's sadly quite safe at home.

[identity profile] himitsunotsuki.livejournal.com 2010-01-06 07:09 pm (UTC)(link)
And I take it Ohtori-kun left his in Germany?

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-06 08:48 pm (UTC)(link)
God I hope so. I haven't asked him but I'm sure it's quite safe as well.

Sorry - but I couldn't leave it home, I dunno when I'll be there next and Mina goes in there to borrow books all the time, and I don't have a specific room at your home yet, so I couldn't leave it there....

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-07 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
Ah well, an oversight on my part. I should have realised that any acquaintanceship with Oshitari would require us to have a bonfire crypt dungeon room 101 locked box for .... such items.

Just ... if you try one of the recipes ... I don't want to know any "extra" details the book might provide.

Re: Screened

[identity profile] silverfromsteel.livejournal.com 2010-01-07 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
Of course, Oishi.

[ooc: I wonder if we should arrange for eiji to find the book....XD]

ooc

[identity profile] g0ldengreen.livejournal.com 2010-01-07 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
[I'm game~ I can see him reading out all the details to Oishi over dinner and asking was "aphrodisiac" means before moving onto why Oshitari is giving Ohtori and Oishi such books to begin with XD]

Re: ooc

[identity profile] silverfromsteel.livejournal.com 2010-01-07 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
[ooc: XD he and tori did say they were going to try and meet up after break....tori will get terribly flustered and embarassed if eiji finds it.

are you able to get on AIM? I wish to plot various things and also possibly run details by you for this weekend.]

[identity profile] silverfromsteel.livejournal.com 2010-01-07 01:44 am (UTC)(link)
I brought it with, actually.

[identity profile] himitsunotsuki.livejournal.com 2010-01-07 05:46 am (UTC)(link)
Good man.
